We want to ensure that we race in an environment which means that we can enjoy driving side by side without the risk of contact, as such we have a ‘Driving Standard Code of Conduct’ which competitors commit to. This is brought to the attention of the Clerk of the Course and enforced at the mandatory drivers briefing, so that he can work with the organisers and deal with any infringements. Safety Cars are also a feature which not only avoid races being stopped but also add to the excitement with drivers considering strategies. All these measures when put together ensure that we have close, fair, exciting, spectacular and most of all enjoyable racing. Being part of over 30 cars doing battle is definitely something to look forward to and it means that driving standards are paramount to keep away the red flags!
We will be policing these rules throughout the season and also instigating a self policing system for driving standards. We will not accept un-gentlemanly driving.
