Collett debuts Iso in HGT
22 May 2008

A new marque joined the Heritage GT Car Challenge field at Brands Hatch on 2-4 May when Alan Collett raced his rare and newly acquired 1964 Iso Rivolta.
Collett shared the Chevrolet-engined Italian supercar with Aston Martin stalwart and international GT racer Peter Snowdon.
The new project represents a steep learning curve for Collett who previously raced an Aston Martin DB2/4; while his race engineer is also learning all about the car.
The Hampshireman had his first race outing in the Iso a few days earlier at Brands following a handful of laps in a wet test session. They finished in 23rd and 31st places respectively in the pair of HGT races and hope to be moving up the grid as they learn more about the evocative 1960s supercar.
