Chris Scragg / John Bussell / Ant Scragg

Aston Martin V8  N0.3

Chris will be again campaigning the V8 in both the Heritage and AMOC Series as well as an E Type Jaguar and MK2 Jaguar at the Top Hat/Masters Races, HSCC Races and at Spa.

He hopes Ant might join the team this year, if he is not too busy racing his Cooper S.

Chris is also occasionally joined by John Bussell for the mandatory 2 man races.

Driver History:

Chris Scragg, 57 years old from Tunbridge Wells, originally raced “off road” for 3 years in the 1980’s in an Austin Gypsy and then a Landrover.  Then in the 1990’s raced offshore power boats starting in the cruiser class and winning the National Championships in a Hunton, before moving into Class 2 in a monohull with 2 x 600bhp sabre diesels.  Finally a Class 2 catamaran, again with twin Sabres with speeds approaching 100mph.  Chris won the National Class series for many years.

Chris began track racing in 2005 in a 1971 Aston Martin DBS V8.  In 2006 he graduated to a 1973 Aston Martin V8 and was joined by his son, Ant, who started off in an MGB V8 and then had a number of races in the DBS.   In 2007 Ant went off to race Renault Clio’s, meanwhile Chris raced the V8 in both the Heritage Series and the AMOC Championship with a number of podiums and victories culminating in 2nd place in the AMOC Championship.
