Chris Beighton
Chris lives In Leicestershire, where he was born, with his wife and two children, he has always had an appetite for sport and a desire to compete at the highest level. D.uring his school years his desire to compete was fulfilled by swimming in local and national tournaments.
In his twenties Chris turned to water skiing. During hIs water skiing days he won the British Senior Championships and for two years prior to retiring from the sport after the arrival of hIs family he Captained the British Youth Squad.
With his family starting to grow up Chris' return to sport in 1998 was to be Motor Racing and entered his first race the Manx Classic in the Isle of Man In a Sunbeam Tiger.
Chris for the last ten years has been the Managing Director of a Leicester based house builder/property companY: The Company operates In the West and East Midlands and builds over 500 properties a year.
Driver Profile
Despite being a car enthusiast it was not until September of 1998 Chris first took part in motor sport.
In 1998 he entered the Manx Challenge in a Sunbeam Tiger. The following year, 1999, again in a Tiger he competed in the Aston Martin Anglo American Challenge going on to win Class in 2000 and 2001 with the outright Championship win 2002.
To date Chris has won a number of Sprint races In the Tiger including Aston Martin Owners
Club Endurance Races and the Sun Beam Chasted Challenge races. Chris considers himself very fortunate to have last year had the opportunity to compete In the Le Mans Classic and Goodwood Revival TT Race.
His ambition in motor sport is quite simply to achieve his best potential.
Interests
Chris says he has a healthy interest for fast cars with a passion for most sports. He Is a regular visitor to the snow during the winter months and enjoys taking on the various challenges that the sport of skiing has to offer. He is a disciplined gym goer and enjoys keeping and feeling fit.



Jon Finnemore
Jon lives with his wife & daughter in a village on the east side of Leicester. His passion for speed started as a young boy when he developed an interest for motorcycles. By the age of seventeen he was tuning and racing motorbikes. He had a formidable reputation for tuning two stroke engines during this time.
During the mid eighties he progressed to his eventual forte of racecar preparation; above all he sees his main strength as a racecar engineer.
Since he started preparing racecars, Jon has built numerous class and championship winners, including two championship winning Lotus Sunbeams, Rover SDI's, a Peugeot 205, an Astra GTE and the famous orange Sunbeam Tiger - to name but a few.
Driver Profile
Jon's introductions to driving racecars came In the late eighties when he participated In the slick 50 Road Saloon championships. However, his racing career began in earnest when he partnered Chris in the Aston Martin Owners Club endurance races during 1999. (A stroke of genius on Chris's part to bring in such an awesome talent!). The 2003 season sees a change to the GT endurance tracing in a Marcos Mantis.
Interests
Jon's hobbies include pro-cart racing from which he has gained valuable racecraft. He also enjoys keeping fit and long distance running.
