Roy has raced every year since he started racing in 1970 in Championships like the Charles Spreckley and the Oldham and Crowther Series. During the 70's he raced an MGA in the newly formed MGA Championship which he won some six times and in between he had a go in an Austin Healey. Around 1980 he got a Chevron B8 and competed in the John Foulston Championship with a fair amount of success. In 1986 he built a road modified MGB roadster and raced with the MGCC BCV8 Championship. He continued to race the MGA now with the Thoroughbred Sportscar Championship. In 1992 he raced a fully modified MGB GT V8 in the BCV8 Championship class D and gave it his own yellow colour scheme and special tuning expertise and now finds himself up near the front tapping at the heels of the 'big boys'. Roy has raced in the Heritage GT Series since 2005 He’s never kept a list of the wins over the years but they must be in the region of 400 - 500 class and outright.

Russell started racing in 1995 also in an MGB firstly in the Standard Class of the BCV8 Championship and then progressed in 1998 to the Road Modified Class where he became seriously hooked. He also raced in the Flemings Thoroughbred Sportscar Championship with numerous class wins. He won both the BCV8 and Thoroughbred Class B Championships in 2006. A particularly special race in the Heritage was with Andy Rouse at Brands Hatch in 2006 where he shared the limelight with Andy who just held the win by a tenth.

Spencer started racing in 1996, being just 11 months younger than brother Russell also in an MGB and for the next couple of years he also raced in the BCV8 Championship and the Flemings Thoroughbreds. In 1998 at 21 he won the BCV8 Championship overall in a Standard MBG winning the class and getting fastest lap in 10 of the 12 rounds. The following year 1999 after progressing to the Road Modified B class he managed to win it again. In 2005 he won the Thoroughbred Championship. He hopes to share a few races with Roy in 2007 but will also be trying his luck with a Ginetta.
