Porsche 911RS No. 80

This is Andrew's second season in the Heritage series racing the Porsche 911 RS. Previously he has been racing a Porsche 944 Turbo and 911 since 2004 in the 750MC Road Sports and SR & GT Series, and in the Porsche Open. He sounds English but actually he's an Australian!
Colin is perhaps better known as a preparer of championship winning cars, but he has been racing at club level on and off since 1980 in Clubmans, SuperSports, Group N, Group A and others. He was Donington Saloon & Sports Champion in 1982, the BRSCC Clubmans Sportscar champion in 1985, second in the Ferrari Owners Club Challenge in a Testarossa in 1999, and has 40 plus race wins.
The Porsche 911 is from the US where it competed in the SCCA series before being brought to the UK about 10 years ago. The car is prepared to 1974 RS specification, albeit with a slightly oversized engine at 3.5 litres, though it retains the period twin carburettor set up.
This year they are aiming to improve on their '07 season single class win at the final round of the season at Brands Hatch, after a year of steady progress up the field.
