Laki is a director of a wholesale wine distributor and lives in Elstree.

From 1989 - 2005 he raced with the Ford Saloon Championship, 2003-2004 in the FIA European Historic Championships and 2006-2007 in the Masters before coming to Heritage in 2007.

He has 42 class wins which include 28 podiums, 24 2nd in class and 36 3rd in class.

The Escort, which is prepared by H.T. Racing is built to the full Touring Car spec of the period. In it's first race at Cadwell Park it set a new lap record by 1.5 secs.

His Interests after Racing cars and building racing cars include running, sports and drinking wine, lots of wine.
