Known as 'Deems' she is an accountant (and runs a lighting company in her “spare time”
Obtained racing licence in 1995. raced in a few 2 driver races before obtaining my first MGB. Have raced in MGCC BCV8, Thoroughbred Sportscars and Anglia Phoenix championships. In 2006 was 8th overall and 2nd in class AB in the BCV8 championship.
Very original car to FIA spec (has FIA papers) Registered by the factory in 1965 the car was 1st purchased by L J Teesdale (then owner of Motorsport Magazine) and used for 5 years as a “staff car” to follow rallies etc. Features in May 1970 Motorsport magazine article “80,000 miles in two MGB’s”. Became a normal road car for several years before being converted to rally spec. Purchased in 2003 by me and gradually converted to race spec as funds allowed.
Being an accountant – they are widely known to be the most boring people in the world! have no real interesting facts, but…. I run my own accountancy practice Active Accounting (strap line – “colour in a grey world”) and import hand-painted porcelain lamps from China for wholesale/ retail in the UK with my business “Brighten UP”
Married to Stephen, sales and franchising manager for Nanjing Automobile corporation (current owners of MG). No children but 2 Jack Russell’s (Mollie Gee and Nutmeg) and 3 chickens, Unity, Diana & Debo.
